I’d like to try to motivate a “random acts of kindness” movement on Fridays (I recognize that I’m a day late with this post!).
It doesn’t take much to do something nice for someone. Say hi, smile to a stranger, buy a coffee, hold the door open for someone, say something nice or reach out to someone you haven’t talked to in awhile. You have no idea how these little gestures can pick someone up or boost their self-esteem.
So to start, I’m saying to all of you, “Thank you for reading the posts on this blog, for your thoughtful posts and for all your wonderful comments.” Every Friday please do something kind for someone (even if you do it regularly). Let’s start a kindness movement! #randomactsofkindness
Blog about it, post about it on social media, keep what you do to yourself, whatever you feel like doing. I posted this on my personal Instagram account yesterday and will share on Facebook and Twitter today, as well as the Instagram account for this blog.
