Monday motivation featuring my sister

Featuring my sister, my #1 inspiration

Happy Family Day in Canada, President’s Day in the USA and Monday to everyone! It’s a Monday motivation Family Day post kind of day today featuring my sister! A lot of the times my sister is my inspiration and I felt like writing a short post about why.

My sister, Timea (T for the rest of the post) never ceases to amaze me with her abilities to navigate this maze that is life, and she does it in style. Yes, T also dresses fabulously (see pic below)!

Here’s a short list of some of the reasons why I’m featuring my sister, my inspiration and my Family Day Monday motivation.
  • T was a talented dancer (for those of you that have read some of my posts, you know I wanted to be one but didn’t quite have enough to go pro). Watching her move on stage always made my eyes fill with pride…okay they were tears, but they were tears of pride and joy!
  • She’s an equally talented choreographer. Her pieces always have depth, quality, and meaning behind every movement from head to toe. She also choreographed the dances that gave me my best marks – bonus!
  • T was the first entrepreneur in our family. Naysayers couldn’t hold her down. She took her passion for dance and fitness and created one-of-a-kind awesome fitness classes. I’m not just saying it because she’s my sister; her classes were always full with die-hard supporters, including my bestie Carrie. She inspired my dedication to fitness, but probably even more important was that she also inspired me to start my own business. There are no words to express the difference that made in my life.
  • She’s a ridiculously awesome mom! I’m not sure if ridiculously awesome is a thing, but if it’s not, it’s a new category for her, and mom’s like her. If you met my nephew, you would know what I meant! He’s 4 and a half, and I have never met a more polite and positive child! I don’t get to see him nearly enough with covid19 restrictions, but I can’t wait until we can again.

Check out her website for some more about her professional background. Have a beautiful day and I hope you enjoyed this post featuring my sister! Stay safe and well.
