This smoothie is vegan and gluten-free deliciousness
I feel that I can claim that this smoothie makes your tummy feel good, because cacao helps with digestion, as well as boosting your mood and some other amazing benefits. So, I decided to keep my title! I can also claim that the flavors in it definitely make mine feel good.
- Makes: 1 large serving or 2 small servings
- Total time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, chopped
- 1/4 cup of frozen strawberries, if using fresh strawberries, add some ice when blending the smoothie
- 1/4 cup of light coconut milk mixed with 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 cup of chocolate almond milk (or soy milk if you cannot use almond)
- 1/2 (22g) scoop of chocolate protein powder (or 3 tablespoons organic cacao powder)
- 1 tablespoon cacao nibs or powder
- 1/2 tablespoon of flaxseeds
Optional toppings

- 2 vegan cacao bar squares crumbled and a strawberry
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and purée until smooth. Add toppings and serve.
