It’s Victoria Day weekend in Canada to honor Queen Victoria), so I thought this was the perfect time to post a detox smoothie recipe. We affectionately call Victoria Day weekend May 2-4; partially because it’s celebrated on the Monday preceding May 25, but also because of all the 24 packs of beer that were consumed during the weekend! There’s my brief – and probably not 100% accurate, but what the people I know believe – history!
Sometimes you also just need a good detox to cleanse your system. Here’s a quick and easy smoothie that does just that, and it also tastes awesome!
Happy Victoria Day weekend fellow Canadians and happy weekend to everyone!
