Valentine’s Day green apple smoothie bowl

Happy Valentine’s Day! I don’t usually like sour things, but this smoothie is an exception…probably because I added some sweetness to it.  It’s a great blend of healthy greens and apples.

Apple spinach smoothie bowl

  • Makes: 2 servings
  • Total time: 10 minutes



  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1-2 green apples, or a combination of green and red apples, peeled and cut into squares
  • 1.5 cups cashew milk
  • 1 teaspoon of pure maple syrup
  • 1 scoop of vegan protein powder, I use Vega Sport because of the amount of protein

Toppings of your choice. These are the ones I used:

shaved coconut

  • 1 kiwi cut in half
  • Handful or tablespoon of shaved, slivered or chopped coconut
  • Mango
  • Chia seeds


Add all ingredients minus toppings into a blender and puree until smooth. Add toppings and enjoy!
