Spinach, pear and ginger super smoothie

This gluten-free and vegan spinach, pear and ginger super smoothie is awesomeness!

Ginger and pear go together amazingly, add in some spinach and you have a fabulous breakfast smoothie!

Just one of the ingredients helps to support healthy skin, hair and bones, as well as healthy digestion and a reduced risk of heart disease.

Spinach, pear and ginger super smoothie

Ingredients

spinach

  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1 cup of spinach
  • 1/2 pear
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder, I use Vega Sport
  • 1/4 tablespoon hemp or flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger, chopped
  • Ice
  • Optional: teaspoon of chopped nuts of your choice

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender and purée until smooth.  If using, add one teaspoon of chopped nuts and serve immediately.
