Happy Halloween! What else could I post today but a pumpkin recipe? Well, lots of things, but I’m also not super creative these days, so here it is! Not only tasty, this smoothie is also vegan and gluten-free.

Pumpkin smoothie recipe

  • Makes: 2 servings
  • Total time: 10 minutes


Pumpkin blended

  • 1 1/2 cup almond or soy milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla vegan protein powder, I use Vega Sport
  • 1 cup puréed pumpkin
  • 2 small pitted dates
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • Ice if desired


Add all ingredients minus the toppings and puree until smooth. Add toppings and serve.
