Happy Friday and start to the weekend! What better way to start the weekend than with a super green smoothie bowl! Extra bonuses (well if you’re like me!) is that vegan and gluten-free too!
The ingredients in it help support heart health, relieve some symptoms of stress, boost your immunity and lower cholesterol.
Super green smoothie bowl
- Makes: 2 servings
- Total time: 10 minutes
- 1 1/2 – 2 cups unsweetened almond, soy or coconut milk
- 1/4 ripe avocado
- 2 medium frozen bananas
- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries or raspberries
- 2 large handfuls spinach
- 1 small handful kale, large stems removed
- 1 tablespoon flax seeds
Toppings of your choice. These are the ones I used:
- Gluten-free granola
- Coconut, shaved, chopped or slivered
- Chia seeds
- Mint leaves
Add all ingredients minus toppings into a blender and puree until smooth.
