Healthy Green Smoothie in the Bow

Don’t go fishing around for a great tasting healthy breakfast, try this super green smoothie bowl recipe! The ingredients in it help support heart health, relieve some symptoms of stress, boost your immunity and lower cholesterol.

Super green smoothie bowl

Makes: 2 servings

Total time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 – 2 cups unsweetened almond, soy or coconut milk
  • 1/4 ripe avocado
  • 2 medium frozen bananas
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries or raspberries
  • 2 large handfuls spinach
  • 1 small handful kale, large stems removed
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds

Toppings of your choice.Β These are the ones I used:

  • Lime
  • Pears
  • Blueberries
  • Kiwi
  • Banana
  • Gluten-free granola
  • Coconut, shaved, chopped or slivered
  • Chia seeds
  • Mint leaves

Directions

Add all ingredients minus toppings into a blender and puree until smooth.
