Boost your health with this berry acai protein smoothie bowl

Acai smoothie bowl

Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. I abide by the rule that eating a balanced and nutritious breakfast is key to keeping energy up during the day. I started drinking or eating smoothies at least once during the week. It helps change up my breakfast routine, and some of them are just delicious like this berry acai protein smoothie bowl.

Some of the health benefits of acai include:

  • Promotes heart health
  • Boosts immunity
  • Assists in digestion
  • Has anti-aging properties
  • Aids in weight loss

Berry acai protein smoothie bowl recipe


  • 2 cups frozen berry mix (blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • 1 fresh or frozen banana
  • 2 tablespoons acai berry powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 scoop of vegan protein powder, I use Vega brand

Toppings I used (all are optional)

  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • Tangerines
  • Pears
  • Kiwi
  • Passion fruit
  • Slivered almonds
  • Toasted coconut flakes
  • Chia seeds
  • Mint leaves

Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Put it in a bowl and top with your choice of toppings.

  1. YUM!!!! I bought the acai a while ago but haven’t known what to do with it!!!!! This looks so delicious! I love the creativity you can do with an acai bowl. Now that I have a good recipe, I may need to try this so soon! Kind of wishing I hadn’t already had breakfast, haha. ALSO- did you see my recent post? I have a surprise for you in it 🙂 xoxo
